Curator's note
Mumm-Ra, created by Tobin Wolf for ThunderCats, which premiered September 9, 1985. A mummified demon-priest bound in service to the Ancient Spirits of Evil, he restores himself in a stone sarcophagus and can transform into the towering, muscular "Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living" by invoking their names. No conventional weapon keeps him down for long; every defeat in the original series proves temporary.
