Ciclope - X-men 97

Curator's note

Cyclops, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, a founding member of the X-Men in The X-Men #1 (1963), originally billed under the nickname Slim before Scott Summers stuck by issue #3. His optic blasts run uncontrolled without the ruby-quartz visor he wears at all times, a permanent tether between his power and his discipline as the team's default field leader. Iron Studios' Art Scale statue renders him in the animated X-Men '97 palette with cel-shaded coloring, visor hand raised, set against a Danger Room base.
