Harley quinn - Batman Animated Series

Curator's note

Harley Quinn, created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, introduced in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor," which aired September 11, 1992, voiced by Arleen Sorkin. Dini modeled her manic performance on a jester sketch Sorkin had done years earlier on Days of Our Lives, and the character proved popular enough to cross into the comics as Batman: Harley Quinn #1 in 1999. Iron Studios' Art Scale statue marks the animated series' 30th anniversary, dressed in her original black-and-red diamond costume beside a Blasting Machine.
