Moon Knight

Curator's note

Marc Spector, created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, first appearing in Werewolf by Night #32 (1975). A mercenary resurrected by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, he fractures into at least three identities: Spector, financier Steven Grant, and cabbie Jake Lockley, each serving a different piece of his mission. Perlin deliberately kept the costume stark white against black, a design choice meant to set him apart on a page crowded with color; Iron Studios' Art Scale statue keeps that same stripped-down palette.
