Wonder Woman Statue

Curator's note

Diana of Themyscira, created by psychologist William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G. Peter, first appearing in All Star Comics #8 (1941). In her original origin she was sculpted from clay by her mother Hippolyta and given life by the Greek gods, who armed her with the Lasso of Truth and bracelets said to withstand any blow; she remains one of comics' first major female superheroes. Queen Studios produced this piece as part of its DC Comics statue line.
